Learjet 75 from Bombardier set to debut in EBACE 2013!

One-way system on Dyce Drive during sewer works -via Aberdeen City Council

Passenger numbers up by 4 per cent in April 2013

Sunday, May 19, 2013 - Passenger numbers at Melbourne Airport increased by 4 per cent in April 2013 compared to the same month last year with a total of 2,451,847 domestic and international passengers travelling through Victoria’s aviation gateway.

International passenger numbers were up by 5 per cent on the same time last year to 572,437 passengers. Passengers from China continue to lead the way in international growth, with a 22.9 per cent increase on the same month last year, reaffirming the ongoing importance of this market for Victoria’s tourism, education and business sectors.


   
 
 

CBP Trusted Traveler Program 'Global Entry' Arrives at John Wayne Airport

Sunday, May 19, 2013 - John Wayne Airport and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced today that a Global Entry kiosk is now in operation for travelers arriving from international destinations.

Global Entry allows expedited CBP clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States. Global Entry members flying into Orange County can now take advantage of this program at John Wayne Airport.
   
 
 

Boeing Selected to Build ViaSat-2 Satellite

Saturday, May 18, 2013 - Boeing has a new satellite customer under a contract to design and deliver one Boeing 702HP high-power spacecraft to ViaSat Inc. in 2016.

The satellite, ViaSat-2, will provide high-speed satellite broadband services to subscribers of the ViaSat Exede® Internet service, as well as address its growing mobile broadband businesses. The companies also will cooperatively offer the system to other satellite providers. Contract value is not being disclosed.
