RICHMOND, Va. – According to the AAA, the price of gas on Labor Day is likely to be the
cheapest since 2010.
Virginians are expected to travel in the highest numbers since the recession this Labor Day
weekend.
Almost one million Virginians will travel 50 miles or more from home for Labor Day, according to an AAA Travel projection.
The number of tourists shows only a slight increase from last year, but this expected volume is the highest it has been since 2008.
