Destinations most chosen by customers through the programme were Phu Quoc, Con Dao, Nha Trang, Quy Nhon, Da Nang, Hue, Hanoi and Hai Phong.
Although the economy met difficulties, the number of customers booking tours under the programme doubled against 2012 because the programme was implemented sooner than in the previous year, since April 2013.
Airlines’ participation in the programme offered opportunities for travel agencies to book tickets. In addition, the programme helped the domestic tourism sector be competitive with other countries in the region in tour prices.
