JCI (Junior Chamber International) is a worldwide non-profit membership-based organisation of entrepreneurs and leaders between the ages of 18 and 40 with a mission to provide development opportunities for young people to create a positive change. JCI Malta is a full member.
This four-day long conference, held each year in a different country, provides JCI members with the opportunity to network with other delegates from other countries while showcasing successful projects, competing at public debates, learning, and inspiring themselves by means of training and keynote speakers. It also provides them with a showcase of the highlights that each hosting country is able to offer.
The draft Programme for the four-day conference is already available on the conference website at www.jci-ec2014.com. The conference aims at putting the JCI values into action as well as promoting the Maltese islands. The conference will also coincide with JCI’s 20th Anniversary, following its establishment in 1994.
Commenting on the number of registrations, Charlotte Gregory, conference director said, “We’re extremely delighted with the number of participants that have registered for the JCI European Malta Conference; this is the perfect platform for JCI Malta, not only to contribute to the JCI community globally, but also to showcase Malta as a value-added destination, whilst promoting networking and entrepreneurship.
“Our projections are that around 1,500 members will register for this conference by June 2014”.
As at the beginning of this year, the top three countries to register the highest delegates were Switzerland with 82 Delegates, 73 from Germany and The Netherlands with 66 Delegates.
