In its drive to deliver a smooth passenger experience to all its travelers, Abu Dhabi Airports is putting in place a range of initiatives to maintain excellent standards of services at Abu Dhabi International Airport during the upcoming busy Hajj season, which started this week with the first special charter flight bound for Jeddah.
Abu Dhabi Airports, and Abu Dhabi Health Services (SEHA), will be providing extra manpower to oversee the smooth processing of pilgrims, ensuring that their health and safety needs are met from the start of their holy journey. The airport is also working closely with all its stakeholders such as airport police, immigration, and customs, to deliver a hassle-free experience to all passengers.
Pilgrims traveling from Abu Dhabi International Airport will have the opportunity to enjoy food and beverage vouchers while waiting for their flights to Saudi Arabia. There will also be a fully equipped dedicated Hajj clinic at the airport, in case emergency diagnosis or treatment needs to be provided.
Eng. Ahmed Al Haddabi, Chief Operations Officer at Abu Dhabi Airports said:

Four daily scheduled flights are operating between Abu Dhabi and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, and seven extra flights have been added especially for Hajj.
