Beautiful music and singing will fill Pittsburgh International Airport’s Landside Terminal as the airport’s Annual Holiday Concert Series is now underway. Performances continue through Friday, Dec. 20 on the ticketing level of the Landside Terminal. The program features many local schools and youth music groups. If you are going to the airport to pick someone up or drop someone off, you can still enjoy the sounds of the season and some of the area’s best young talent.
Pittsburgh International Airport holiday decorations are also on display. Local students make the holiday ornaments that adorn trees on the ticketing level. Ornaments were made by students from Carnegie Elementary, Dutch Ridge Elementary, Forest Grove Elementary, Moon Area Middle School, South Side Beaver Elementary, and Osborne Elementary School.
“Not only is this a great way to enhance the passenger experience, but it’s an opportunity to showcase the extraordinary talent of the young people in our region,” said David Minnotte, Chairman, Allegheny County Airport Authority. The performances and holiday ornament crafts are both part of the Art in the Airport Program at Pittsburgh International Airport.
