Allium At Four Seasons Hotel Chicago Plays To One’s Affection With Special Valentine’s Menu Inspired By Love

The four-course culinary journey sets the mood with a first course featuring aphrodisiacs such as fennel and saffron and winds through the emotions of love with dishes that include bleeding heart radish, sweet and sour beets, forbidden black rice and hearts of palm. All good things must come to a sweet end so savour a chocolate tasting for dessert.

The Valentine’s Day Four-Course is USD 95.00 per person, USD 130.00 paired with a glass of Dom Pérignon, and available Friday, February 14, and Saturday, February 15, 2014. The complete menu includes:

First Course
Fennel saffron bisque, blue crab, ruby red grapefruit
Second Course
Bitter winter greens, bleeding heart radish, Capriole goat cheese, sweet-n-sour beets, salted caramel walnuts, Green Goddess dressing
Third Course
Diver scallop, forbidden black rice, mango coconut curry, hearts of palm, date vinaigrette; or,

Strip steak, sunchoke pommes purée, roasted red pepper, angel hair leeks, bordelaise
Fourth Course
