Each year, companies face new challenges to keep their businesses running smoothly; from adapting to new technological advances and political changes, to recruiting top talent in a changing job market.
Amongst managing growth expectations and obtaining new capital, one of the biggest challenges is staying focused on employees and serving their needs.
As a leading technology partner for the global travel industry, Amadeus is committed to understanding the modern workforce and delivering an inspiring work environment for its employees. This dedication has been recognised by the global Top Employers Institute, as Amadeus has been named a Top Employer in Thailand for a consecutive year, as well as a Top Employer in Australia for 2017..
Dennis Utter, Global Business Director for the Top Employers Institute, said “Optimal employee conditions ensure that people can develop themselves personally and professionally. From our comprehensive assessment, we concluded that Amadeus provides an outstanding employment environment and offers a wide range of creative initiatives that are well thought out and truly aligned with the culture of their company.”
In Asia Pacific, Amadeus boasts a workforce of more than 4,000 people of more than 40 nationalities. Driven to continue engaging employees across all territories in multiple languages, there is a keen focus on building Amadeus’ reputation as an employer of choice, attracting and hiring the right people, and instilling pride to support motivation and retention.
Pablo Alonso, Asia Pacific Human Resources Director at Amadeus said “With the phenomenal growth Amadeus is experiencing in the region, we have multiplied our efforts to attract and nurture great talent in Asia Pacific. We are focused on developing our HR practices and creating an environment that enables teamwork, embraces diversity and drives innovation for our customers. We’re honoured that all that hard work has been reflected with the Top Employer certification for a consecutive year in Thailand and for the first time in Australia.”
Companies who participate in the Top Employers certification must complete a stringent research process and meet the required high standard in order to achieve certification. The Top Employers Institute assessed Amadeus employee offerings based on talent strategy, workforce planning, learning and development, culture, compensation and benefits, amongst others.
