American Bus Association Foundation Tracking Motorcoach Sales

Published on : Saturday, December 21, 2013

aba-logoEach quarter, the American Bus Association Foundation asks its motorcoach manufacturers about sales data information so members and others can help understand the industry trends in motorcoach purchasing.

Starting in 2014, the Foundation will pair this dataset with a survey sample from operators that asks them to project future vehicle purchases. The combination of demand and sales data should help the industry more accurately forecast product development and operator demand.

Third quarter sales data from ABC Companies, Motor Coach Industries/Setra and Prevost/Volvo are included. As additional builders and distributors are added to the data collection, estimates and trending information will be updated.
