Bollywood stars hold press conference in Seychelles ahead of first Seychelles-India Day celebrations

BollywoodThe Indian High Commissioner in Seychelles, H.E. Thanglura Darlong accompanied by the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism & Culture, Minister Alain St.Ange joined the long list of Bollywood Stars, who are in the Seychelles to participate in the first edition of the Seychelles-Indian Day Celebrations, for a Press Conference that was held at the Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Resort & Casino last Friday afternoon.

Sitting with the Indian High Commissioner Thanglura Darlong and the Seychelles Minister St.Ange was Mr R. Madhavan, the Bollywood Superstar and Guest of Honour for the first edition of the Seychelles-Indian Day Celebrations.

Also present were the Best Chef of India, MasterChef Sanjeev Kapoor, the World-Class percussionist Sivamani, the prominent Bollywood Vocalist Akriti Kakar, the leading Indian Film Actress and Model Anjana Sukhani, the Indian Film actress Shazahn Padamsee, the latest sensation in Bollywood Benny Doyal, the former Miss Universe India 2010 Ushoshi Sengupta who has been designated as the Master of Ceremony  for the 3-Day Celebrations in Seychelles, India’s Best Percussionist Tanmoy Bose, India’s leading Flautist Naveen Kumar and India’s most creative fashion designer Mayyur Girotra.

After initial opening remarks by Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture and India High Commissioner Thanglura Darlong, the Bollywood Superstar Mr R. Madhavan thanked Seychelles for hosting the Seychelles-India Day Celebrations and for inviting this pond list of Indian Stars to be in the islands all together for this one event.

Each of the stars present took the microphone and spoke of their impression of Seychelles before answering questions from the press.

Seychelles Minister St.Ange thanked all the stars for taking time to be in Seychelles and said that he was counting on them to become Ambassadors of the islands they all said they had fallen in love with because of the exceptional beauty of the islands and the cleanliness of the islands and for the warmth of the people. Present at the Press Conference were Sherin Naiken, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board, Benjamine Rose, the PS for Culture and Anne Lafortune, the PS for Tourism both from the Ministry of Tourism and Culture.
