Brazil Tourism Ministry and hotel industry sign agreement to monitor tariffs of FIFA host cities

The document, handed to Brazil Tourism Minister Gaston Vieira says that the “cost item is strategic” for the expansion of the Brazilian tourism and cites the inclusion of hotels in Greater Brazil Plan as progress “in increasing the competitiveness of the sector.”

According to the minister during the next 30 days he will make pasta visits to six capitals which will host the World Cup in 2013. The goal is to inspect the spot, the “harmonization of hosting fees,” and build a mapping offering alternative accommodation in Brazil to the consumer.
