Caribbean Airlines has for the sixth consecutive year, emerged as the “Caribbean’s Leading Airline” at the 23rd Annual World Travel Awards™ 2016. The World Travel Awards™ was established in 1993 to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all key sectors of the travel tourism & hospitality industry. Today, the World Travel Awards™ brand is recognised globally as the ultimate hallmark of quality, with winners setting the benchmark to which all others aspire.
This year’s awards function was held at the Sandals Resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica on September 17th. Caribbean Airlines representatives at the event included Trudy Chin, General Manager (Ag) Caribbean Airlines, Jamaica and Head of Corporate Communications, Dionne Ligoure, who accepted the award on behalf of the airline.
Commenting on the airline’s success, Dionne Ligoure stated: “Caribbean Airlines is thrilled to be named the “Caribbean’s Leading Airline” for the 6th consecutive year. We are transforming the way we do business with customer focussed service improvements, which give our customers a value added, positive travel experience. Through consistent innovation with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, we have been able to maintain our lead position in the region for six (6) consecutive years.”
