Cebu Pacific took delivery of its 28th Airbus A320 aircraft recently. The brand new ‘Sharklets’-equipped Airbus A320 aircraft carried 4.1 tonnes of medical equipment for typhoon Yolanda affected regions.
The delivery flight arrived in Manila with one doctor, two nurses and one coordinator on board. This humanitarian mission flight was organized by Cebu Pacific Air and the Airbus Foundation in association with German charity, Humedica, with medical supplies being flown from Hamburg, Germany.
With this delivery, CEB now operates a fleet of 48 aircraft comprised of 10 Airbus A319, 28 Airbus A320, 2 Airbus A330 and 8 ATR-72 500 aircraft. Between 2013 and 2021, Cebu Pacific will take delivery of 14 more Airbus A320, 30 Airbus A321neo, and 4 Airbus A330 aircraft.
