The city’s leading nouvelle Chinese dining experience celebrates the much-awaited Chinese festivities with special menus at 8 restaurant starting January 31, 2014 for 10 days.
Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at Nile Plaza will commemorate the Chinese Year of Horse and guests will enjoy the festive ambiance from the moment they step into 8 restaurant. Guests will be welcomed by the team with their traditional customs making a wish for health and happiness on the Chinese New Year.
A “feast for the senses” sounds cliché, but the reality is that one’s whole being is drawn into this invigorating dining experience with festive atmospheric surroundings and entertainment. 8 has landed on a combination that is rare to find: impeccable service, stunning décor, and a chef straight from Shanghai preparing food that surpasses any other venue in Egypt. 8 is perched looking over the Nile, offering great view of the brightly lit feluccas and Cairo’s skyline, not to mention the sunset if guests make it early enough.
The talented Chef Shuhua Hou and his culinary team will prepare equally tempting delicacies from a Chinese-inspired specially created eight-course set menu, in addition to the tantalizing restaurant menu. Chinese tea and distinctive canapés will entice as well.
No night would be complete without entertainment. A calligrapher will be present on the first day in 8 restaurant to draw each guest’s name in Chinese.
