Christmas with airberlin – the heart flies too

Published on : Monday, November 25, 2013

airberlin-2The airberlin chocolate heart is one of the most popular souvenirs for frequent flyers to bring home. Every flight guest on a German domestic or Euroshuttle flight receives one in goodbye from the flight attendants. Now, the chocolate hearts from Rausch are also available in a special Christmas edition with three different colours and a hook so that the hearts can be hung on the Christmas tree as ornaments.

During the pre-Christmas season, mulled wine will be offered to flight guests on board all airberlin flights between Germany, Austria and Switzerland starting at 4 p.m. An Aachener Printen gingerbread will be offered as a Christmas snack.

During the cold season, all medium-haul flights will be offering the Sansibar classic, breast of duck in orange sauce with red cabbage and a baked apple with almonds. The Sansibar gourmet menus can be pre-ordered for all airberlin short and medium-haul flights of 60 minutes or more. For flights longer than 90 minutes, flight guests can also spontaneously choose a smaller selection on board.

airberlin is one of the leading airlines in Europe and flies to 147 destinations worldwide.
