Colombia expects an increase in the number of visitors in 2014

ColombiaThis festive season Colombia expects an increase in the number of visitors leading to boost tourism. Seasonal increases in the number of flights between North America and Colombia will allow more visitors than ever to experience grand celebration to welcome the New Year.
Airlines like JetBlue, Avianca and Copa offer high frequency flights to the Caribbean travelers to visit Colombia. Also, airlines like American Airlines and Caribbean Airways allows them visit Colombia via Miami. Tourists from countries like Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Curacao and Aruba, will discover a unique destination all year long, not only in the big cities like Bogotá or Medellín, but also a variety of activities, cultures, food and festivals around the country.
Colombia expects 2014 to be a busy year for tourism. In January, Cartagena will host the International Music Festival, welcoming classical artists and opera singers from all over the world. In February, more than 600 international buyers from the leisure, meetings and tourism industries will convene in Bogota for Colombia Travel Mart, the country’s most important tourism industry event. Later, in March, thousands of international visitors will travel to Barranquilla for the city’s famous Carnaval festival.
