Marriott International, today announced the grand opening of Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Namdaemun. The new Courtyard boast a refreshingly designed lobby area complete with complimentary Wi-Fi and media pods – perfect for conducting business or staying connected to family and friends while on the road. The 409-room hotel feature’s Courtyard by Marriott’s spacious and contemporarily designed guest rooms and suites that provide flexibility and choices to allow guests to optimize and elevate their travel experience.

Courtyard’s overall design is modern, contemporary, and thoughtful. Every room is equipped with premium amenities including 49 inch LED televisions, Courtyard labeled bedding, high-speed internet access, and floor-to-ceiling glass walls through which guests can enjoy a scenic view of national treasure No.1 Namdaemun and N Seoul Tower. The Namdaemun Suite on the 19th floor has an outdoor terrace where guests can enjoy the panoramic views of Seoul city, perfect for private functions and gatherings. The Executive Lounge is located on the 22nd floor, and exclusively offers guests complimentary breakfast, evening canapés, use of meeting rooms and snacks throughout the day.
Upon entering Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Namdaemun guests are welcomed by an expansive atrium that allows natural sunlight to illuminate the lobby area. Attentive staff will eagerly greet guests and assist them with check-in and other requests. Guests can take advantage of dining at the Momo Café or enjoy a snack and a beverage at the Momo Lounge & Bar. The third floor features, five multi-functional meeting rooms which can comfortably accommodate up to 150 people for any occasion.
Centrally located in Namdaemun Jung-gu, the new property is close to all modes of transportation and tourist attractions including Namdaemun Market; Myeongdong; Deoksugung Palace and City Hall.
The Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Namdaemun was constructed with nine environment-friendly products and as a result, holds a Green Building certificate.
