CA Technologies today announced that Mike Crest, general manager of Data Management, has been named a Top 25 Innovator by CRN for the second year in a row. This annual list is part of CRN’s Top 100 Executives in the IT Channel for 2013, which salutes the most influential and innovative channel executives in North America.
Crest was cited for the expansion of the CA ARCserve MSP Licensing program which enables service providers to flexibly license the product on a monthly basis to customers.

The Top 100 Executives list is based on ongoing feedback throughout the year from solution providers, with rankings based on channel influence, effectiveness and visibility, along with business and sales impact. Final selections were made by a panel of CRN editors. Among the criteria considered were channel sales volume, channel investment and resources, channel advocacy and visibility, and performance in The Channel Company research projects including the Annual Report Card and Channel Champions.
