Cvent, a leading cloud-based enterprise event management platform, today announced its recognition as one of the best employers in the state of Virginia. Cvent was included in the 2014 Best Places to Work in Virginia list. Past honorees have included prestigious companies such as Capital One, GEICO and Carfax.
“Cvent takes great pride in fostering an environment that our employees are excited to work in everyday,” said Sophia MacDonald, Cvent’s director of human resources. “Our company’s DNA is comprised of our hardworking and dedicated employees here in Virginia and around the world. We are proud to invest in their growth, and promote an atmosphere that inspires them to be their very best.”
Companies from across the state participated in a two-part evaluation process. The first part, worth 25 percent, evaluated each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part, worth 75 percent, surveyed employees on their workplace experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. The complete list will be unveiled in the February 2014 issue of Virginia Business.
