DDB MudraMax has been nominated by South African Tourism as the outdoor advertising partner in the Tourism Board’s destination brand building efforts in India. The agency will be engaged for the 2013-14 campaign, which goes live in January 2014.
Twelve leading creative and media buying agencies participated in the competition in which they were given more than a month to present their creative plan. After many rounds of definite evaluation of all the proposals, DDB MudraMax was chosen as the winner by South African Tourism. DDB MudraMax provided the most innovative and fascinating ideas in addition to promoting their team strength and expertise that can support South African Tourism’s brand building and marketing requirements across their key markets and audiences.
Hanneli Slabber, Country Manager, South African Tourism said,” Given the importance of the Indian market in our global tourism growth strategy, we were scouting for an agency that showcases the best understanding of South Africa as a holiday destination. DDB MudraMax was declared the winner as they provided the most innovative and compelling ideas in addition to showcasing their team strength and expertise that can support South African Tourism’s brand building and marketing requirements across our key markets and audiences.”
The South African Tourism Board hopes that the partnership with DDB MudraMax, will roll out innovative and exciting outdoor, cinema and TVC campaigns to make South Africa as the most preferred destination among potential Indian tourists besides extending their brand marketing outreach to a larger mix of visitor segments across key markets.
