Delta Air Lines today issued the following statement from CEO Richard Anderson in support of President Obama’s nomination of U.S. Sen. Max Baucus as the next Ambassador to China.
“I applaud the President’s insight in nominating Sen. Max Baucus to serve as our country’s next Ambassador to China. The same traits that have earned Max great respect among democrats and republicans alike over his distinguished career will allow him to effectively navigate what is one of the most important diplomatic posts in the world. Max is well-versed in international economic issues and foreign policy and will be an effective champion for one of the most important bilateral relationships for the U.S.”
