Delta Air Lines and 20th Century Fox will offer Delta customers an exclusive six-minute sneak peek of the film, “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty,” prior to its premiere in theaters Dec. 25, 2013, as well as a chance to win SkyMiles.
Starring and directed by Ben Stiller, “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty” is the story of daydreamer Mitty (Stiller), who escapes his anonymous life by disappearing into a world of fantasy filled with heroism, romance and action. When his job and that of his co-worker, played by Kristen Wiig, are threatened, Mitty takes action in the real world embarking on a global journey that turns into an adventure more extraordinary than anything he could have ever imagined. The film also stars Sean Penn, Shirley MacLaine, and Adam Scott.
Customers traveling with Delta in November were able to watch the film’s official trailer.
Those traveling throughout the month of December can view a six-minute sneak peek of the film, exclusive to Delta flights.
December’s Sky magazine features Ben Stiller on the cover and within issue.
Visitors to Delta’s Facebook page between Dec. 4-27 have the chance to win SkyMiles through the “Stop Dreaming and Start Doing” sweepstakes. Ten “Stop Dreaming and Start Doing” winner will be announced on Jan. 2.*
Delta Vacations is providing the grand prize for the “Walter Mitty Photo Experience” on Shutterfly.com.

The full-length feature film will join Delta’s library of in-flight entertainment beginning spring 2014.
The partnership with 20th Century Fox leverages the airline’s Sky Media division which offers advertisers the opportunity to reach millions of consumers through a rapidly expanding list of touch points throughout the travel experience. Unique, custom-tailored content can be placed in both traditional venues like Sky Magazine and the aircraft’s in-flight entertainment system and new media options including delta.com, Fly Delta mobile apps, the in-flight Wi-Fi portal, and screens in boarding areas and in Delta Sky Clubs.
