Delta Air Lines announces the promotions of two of its Latin America and Caribbean leaders for their contributions to Delta’s goal to become the best U.S. airline in Latin America and the Caribbean.
“I am delighted to recognize the contributions of Shane Spyak and Rodrigo Bértola to the Latin America team and to congratulate them on their promotions to Managing Director and Director respectively,” said Nicolas Ferri, Delta’s vice president—Latin America and Caribbean.
“It is the tenacity, vision and strength of our leaders that differentiates Delta and helps us to get closer every day to our goal to be the best U.S. airline in Latin America and the Caribbean.”
Shane Spyak, who has been promoted to managing director for Market Development and Multinational Sales, Latin America & Caribbean, has been with Delta since 2006.
In addition to his current responsibilities covering Sales Planning, Market Development and Customer Engagement, he will now manage the Multinational Sales account portfolio, a rapidly growing line of business for Delta.
“Bértola’s promotion to director for Delta’s Hispanic South America is a testament to the superb leadership qualities and business acumen he has demonstrated since he joined our team last August,” said Ferri. “As the region increases its expansion and development, I will continue to count on his support to elevate Delta’s profile in the markets of Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela.”
