Delta-VacationDelta Vacations, a leading provider of quality, customizable vacation packages, today announced that it has strengthened its relationship with tour provider Globus and its family of brands.
As a part of this enhanced relationship, Globus is now Delta Vacations’ primary provider of escorted and independent tours and rivers cruises in Asia. Along with Australia and New Zealand, which were added late last year, Globus has been Delta Vacations’ primary provider in Europe and other parts of the world for several years.
“We have been working for some time to grow our relationship with the Globus family of brands,” said MLT Vacations President John Caldwell. “We are thrilled to now be able to bring our travel agent partners all of the richness, diversity and experience that the Globus family of brands has to offer in Asia and around the world.”
Through its expanded agreement with the Globus family of brands, which includes Globus, Cosmos, Avalon Waterways and Monograms, Delta Vacations is able to offer its travel agent partners and their clients new destinations and new tour opportunities.
Highlighting these tour opportunities are new river cruise vacations in Asia, South America and the U.S. aboard Avalon Waterways. Travel agents can now offer their clients Mekong River cruises that travel through Vietnam and Cambodia. These 14-day excursions are between Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City and can be scheduled as either northbound or southbound cruises. Options include visits to Luang Prabang, Hanoi & Ha Long Bay.
In South America, travel agents can now book Amazon River cruises and Galapagos Island cruises through Delta Vacations. The Amazon cruise is an 11-day journey that begins and ends in Lima, Peru and features visits to Machu Picchu, Cusco and an overnight stay in the Pacaya-Samiria National Preserve. There are a number of options for Galapagos Islands cruises including a choice to embark from Quito, Ecuador or Lima, Peru.
In the U.S., travel agents can now book their clients aboard Mississippi River cruises. The itineraries include an 11-day Chicago to St. Paul, Minn. fall foliage cruise, and a 12-day Nashville to New Orleans American heartland cruise.
In partnership with Delta Air Lines, Delta Vacations brings its travel agent partners and their clients superior levels of service, the lowest airfares on Delta, more ways to earn bonus miles and award travel, and a lowest price guarantee for their vacation packages.
