Dubai Tourism partakes in the biggest networking forum for the Travel and Tourism industry in South Asia

The Department of Tourism and Commerce marketing participated for the seventh successive year at the South Asia’s biggest travel and tourism exhibition held recently in the Indian capital New Delhi. During its 20 co-participants displayed Dubai’s attractions and tourism product, DTCM has gradually built its presence at SATTE over the last six years and continues to foresee larger inflow of buyers.

SATTE has always played an essential role in promoting diverse segments of tourism and has now evolved as a primary travel mart in South Asia.

Mansoor Bawazir, Head of Region (India, Middle East & Southern/Eastern Africa) at DTCM’s Overseas Promotions and Inward Missions Department participated along with 35 participants from the Department of Tourism in the exhibition

The Dubai-India relations have been showing signs of rapid growth which reflects the eagerness and expansion of economies on both sides. India has remained one of the largest trading partners of Dubai and has the two-way trade has been posting remarkable year-on-year growth.

Participants met with key representatives of tourist companies from around the world. Indian guests to Dubai have reached total 763,846 in 2012, which clearly reflecting that the relation between Dubai and India is rising.

Last year’s overwhelming response has set the pace for SATTE 2013, with more than 50% of the previous year exhibitor’s confirmed their participation in this year show
