Dusit Thani Dubai handed over a cash donation worth AED 17,165 to Operation Smile UAE, enough to bring smiles on twenty children’s faces and change their lives forever. This was made possible through the generous donations of the hotel’s guests, restaurant diners and employees.
Established in January 2011 in the UAE, Operation Smile UAE is a children’s charity, committed to saving lives and allowing children with facial deformities such as cleft lip and cleft palate to smile properly through providing free constructive surgeries and after-care treatments, especially to those who cannot afford it financially.
“Operation Smile UAE would like to say a heartfelt ‘THANK YOU’ to Dusit Thani Dubai and all the generous donors. These funds will enable twenty children to receive life changing surgery they so desperately require to repair their cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities”, says Morag Cromey-Hawke, Executive Director – Operation Smile UAE.
