Wednesday, 23rd July (10am), saw the opening of Superdrug’s newest store at East Midlands Airport.
The new airside store offers travellers the latest health and beauty must-haves, giving them the chance to buy their favourite brands before they fly.
Customers will find a special mix of travel products, as well as a wide variety of sun care, perfect for stocking up before flights to the sun.
The store was officially opened by Simon Comins, Superdrug Buying Director and Gill Smith, Superdrug Finance Director alongside Andy Cliffe, Managing Director of the Airport.
Gill Smith commented: “We are all delighted to be bringing Superdrug to East Midlands Airport especially at a time when the airport has seen such great investment and redevelopment.
“Our store team has been working hard to make sure the store looks fabulous, and it’s great to open the doors and help customers with their holiday essentials.”
The store officially opened to customers at 10am on Wednesday, 23rd July and will offer a special introductory meal deal (£3, until 27th July).
Andy Cliffe, Managing Director, East Midlands Airport said: “We are delighted to be working with a renowned high-street retailer, like Superdrug and to have their store, as a new addition to the shopping experience at East Midlands Airport.
“The opening of this brand new store is an important milestone for us, as Superdrug is the first new retailer to be announced, as part of our £12 million terminal redevelopment project and we are confident that this store will be incredibly popular with our customers.”
