Eurostar 'woos' its passengers with Valentine's Day surprises

Eurostar, the high-speed passenger service that ‘marries’ the UK and the continent will treat its passengers to a host of romantic surprises to celebrate St. Valentine’s Day.

On the 08 February, Eurostar will ‘woo’ couples setting off for a romantic Valentine’s Day getaway, with ‘love’ themed ticket giveaways, exclusive upgrades and special treats including chocolates and mini bottles of Cava.

Couples will also be able to have their pictures taken in Eurostar’s own ‘love’ photo booths, which will be situated in the departure lounges at London St Pancras, Paris Gare du Nord and Brussels Midi stations.

Lucky passengers travelling to Paris, Brussels or beyond this weekend (9-10 February) will also feel the love in the air at London St Pancras station, as Eurostar will stage special ‘loved’ themed competition with a chance to win one of five weekends away.

Mary Walsh, Director of Communications for Eurostar, said: “Each year, we see a jump in Valentines bookings as couples across the country fall for the romantic pull of Paris. Our on-board crews have seen their fair share of marriage proposals and with all these romantic activities across our stations this Valentine’s Day, this year will be no exception.”

Tickets for travel from London to Paris and from London to Brussels start from £69 return and can be booked up to 4 months in advance.
