Think Pink Event Kicks Off October in Style
On Thursday, October 2, 2014, Four Seasons Hotel Chicago hosted the Third Annual Think Pink Fundraiser to benefit The Lynn Sage Foundation. More than 250 guests were in attendance, and raised more than USD 6,700 – the most profitable Think Pink event at Allium to date.

Among the stylish crowd, many adorned in fashionable pink attire, were some of Chicago’s top bloggers, who came together to raise more than USD 3,000 for the Foundation prior to the event. Bloggers included event host Janet Lee Mandell of Fashionaholic, who organized and styled a Nicole Miller fashion presentation of the hottest pieces from the fall/winter 2014 collection. The runway starred sixteen bloggers: Mischaela Advani of How to Run in Heels, Nicole Regan of Cedar and Rush, Eva Pawlus of Guaranteed Rate, Sarah Baker of The Balanced Babe, Vanessa Lambert of What Would V Wear, Sarah Raskey of Sarah Raskey Fine Art, Amelia Eaton of The CHICago Life Blog, Helen Burkun of Helenberkun.com,

Ariel Peche of Arielpeche.com, Donna Cheney of I Fly First Class, Jennifer Woman of Red Soles and Red Wine, Monika Pardala of Chicago in Stilettos, Micaela Brown of The Chicago Sun-Times Minority Report, Ashlee Piper of The Little Foxes, Meggan Morehead of Somewhere Lately, and Shai Chung of Drunk on Shoes.

In addition to the fashion presentation, guests enjoyed complimentary pink manicures and back massages from the Hotel’s Spa, a pink lip bar from Estée Lauder at Bloomingdale’s, and grooming essentials from Old Town Barber Shop. There was a Bloomingdale’s-sponsored raffle of luxury accessories, such as a Kate Spade wallet, Alexis Bittar earrings, and Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses. The raffle also featured signed Black Hawks paraphernalia from the 2013 Stanley Cup championship team. Allium served a variety of pink cocktails, as well as sweet and savoury bites.

“Thursday night’s event filled Allium and the Hotel lobby with great energy, fashion, and buzz,” said Michele Grosso, Four Seasons Hotel Chicago General Manager. “It was wonderful to see a young and vibrant crowd come together for such a worthy cause.”
The event was sponsored by Allium, Bloomingdale’s, Chicago Sun-Times SPLASH, Four Seasons Hotel Chicago, Laurent-Perrier, Leah Chavie, and Monika Dixon Public Relations.
