Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta And Partners Donate TDR 500 Million Raised Through Jakarta Race 2013 To Indonesian Cancer Foundation

cq5dam.web_.press_.722.keepaspectratio14-300x168Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta, together with main partner AIA and partners PT Cargill Indonesia and Aqua Danone, recently presented IDR 500 million to the Yayasan Kanker Indonesia (Indonesian Cancer Foundation) at the foundation’s main branch in Jalan Sam Ratulangi, Jakarta Pusat. The money was raised through the Jakarta RACE (Run Against Cancer Everyone) on November 6, 2013. The event was attended by representatives from the cancer foundation, Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta, AIA as main partner and PT Cargill Indonesia as partner of Jakarta RACE 2013.

“We are delighted to be involved in this combined effort to fight cancer in Indonesia and we are committed to arrange the Jakarta RACE event annually. We thank each and everyone who participated and supported the Jakarta RACE 2013 who made it possible for us to raised the donation: to main partner AIA, partners PT Cargill and Aqua Danone, as well as to all media partners and sponsors,” said General Manager Vikram Reddy of Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta, represented by Hotel Manager Ersev Demiroz at the event.

“We are delighted to see the results of the Jakarta RACE 2013 fundraising and to be able to deliver the funds to the beneficiaries of this donation,” said Reza Varindra, Chief Marketing Officer at AIA.

“We greatly appreciate the assistance of Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta and AIA in raising money partnering with PT Cargill Indonesia and Aqua Danone, and together with all other sponsors, runners and supporters. Thank you for entrusting ICF with the proceeds of Jakarta RACE to realize cancer controlling activities to reduce the death rate in Indonesia,” ICF Chairman Prof. DR. dr. Nila Moeloek, Sp.M (K) stated in her speech during the event. “Approximately 120 cancer patients will benefit from the fund. ICF will use the donation in a series of educational activities, early detection and providing direct assistance such as medicines, treatments and surgeries, radiotherapy treatments and HPV vaccinations for young adults.”
