Dr Abhilash Haridas, the Spa Manager of the spectacular revamped Rock Spa at the Fregate Island Private of the Seychelles can be proud when he welcomes guests at his facilities.
The works are part of the upgrading works being undertaken by the island ever since Fregate Island Private joined the list of Masterpiece Hotels in the OETKER COLLECTION and managed alongside the famous L’Apogee Courchevel of Courchevel in France, Brenners Park Hotel & Spa of Baden Baden in Germany, Le Bristol Paris of Paris in France, Chateau Saint-Martin & Spa of Vence Cote D’Azure in France, Hotel Du Cap-Eden-Roc of Cap D’Antibes in France and Palais Namaskar of Marrakech in Morocco.
It was Mr Didier Le Calvez, the Senior Vice President Operations and Sales & Marketing for OETKER COLLECTION who personally took Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture to inspect the revamped Rock Spa of the island. The renovation works forms part of the operational vision of the new company appointed to manage Fregate Island Private.
At a meeting last week on Fregate Island Mr Didier Le Calvez gave a run down on the upgrading works underway for which a budget of Euro 4.5 million has been earmarked. Redecoration of the island’s spa and the tennis courts and works on the grounds of the hotel, which is the whole island were the first to be attended to. Fregate Island Private falls in the category of the exclusive ‘one island one resort’ concept.
OETKER COLLECTION of Hotels is a Family Owned Business in Germany and they have a list of some 300 thousand addresses of five star clients who have previously stayed in their own hotels. “They have now already successfully moved clients to Fregate Island Private and as they continue cross selling their properties through Appeal, their own Oetker Collection Magazine and other sales approaches.
“I was happy to have heard from Mr Didier Le Calvez their plans and marketing approaches for Fregate Island Private. I have seen the work in progress and appreciate that the owning company is reinvesting in their property. Fregate Island Private is one of our great properties and we welcome the approach by OETKER COLLECTION to upgrade the property” Minister St.Ange said when he left the island last Sunday.
