The executives and staff members of Incheon International Airport Corporation have visited Shinpo international market- the traditional market with which Incheon Airport has a sisterhood relationship – to seek for solution to its vitalization.
On December 7th, President and CEO of Incheon Airport Corporation Jung Chang-soo and other executives and staff members paid a visit to Shinpo international market, which is located in Jung-gu district, Incheon city and held a meeting with the members of traders’ committee.
On this meeting, the Corporation representatives listened to the briefing on current situation in Shinpo international market’s management and exchanged the various opinions regarding the future support plan for the vitalization of traditional market. Also, by personally looking around the market they had a chance to grasp the difficulties and problems traders currently face. In addition to this, to keep the sanitary clean environment of the market place two floor cleaning machines have been delivered to the traders’ committee.
President and CEO of Incheon Airport Corporation Jung Chang-soo said that “Incheon Airport Corporation, as a public enterprise, endeavors to contribute to the governmental policy regarding the vitalization of traditional market. In the future as well, it will implement various support measures to construct desirable role model of a sisterhood relationship between the market place and the institution.
