Gulf Air Upgrade Aircraft Operating to Turkey

Gulf-AirplaneGulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, as part of its winter schedule, has announced it will be operating its new A320-Extended Range (ER) aircraft on all it its flights between Istanbul – Bahrain from the 27th of October 2013.

 

Gulf Air’s flagship aircraft, designed specifically for the airline based on feedback from customers, features fully-flatbed seats in Falcon Gold Class, measuring 1.90 meters when completely reclined. The Economy Class seats offer passengers the very latest in comfort. Featuring a 4-inch recline, an 18-inch seat-width and an adjustable head and foot rest allowing greater passenger relaxation. The aircraft is also equipped with the in-flight entertainment technology.

 

Gulf Air’s Acting Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Ahmed Janahi, “The Istanbul – Bahrain route is a popular choice among business and leisure travelers alike and the new A320-ER, the only aircraft of its kind in the world featuring full flat-bed seats, and equipped with the latest comfort and technology will be instrumental in helping Gulf Air retain its position as the airline of choice connecting Turkey and Bahrain.”

 

Gulf Air’s A320-ER service to Bahrain will operate as GF 44 departing Istanbul at 14:25 and arriving at Bahrain International Airport at 19:15. The return flight of GF 43 departs Bahrain at 10:10 and touches down in Ataturk International Airport at 13:35. The aircraft will feature a total of 110 seats in a two-class configuration of 14 in Business Class and 96 in Economy.
