Despite the recent filing for insolvency by one of Hahn Air’s partner airlines (OLT Express Germany GmbH), passengers whose tickets were issued on an HR-169 will not be left stranded as a result of Hahn Air’s comprehensive insolvency insurance coverage Securtix.
In April 2012 when Securtix was introduced, Hahn Air, in cooperation with Allianz Global Assistance International S.A., extended its insurance policy and started offering compensation rights to passengers affected by the insolvency of an operating airline in addition to a refund for the unused part of a ticket.
Reimbursement covers the difference between the initial ticket price and the new ticket price, meals and hotel accommodation as well as extras such as transfers and phone calls.
