The China Xi’an Silk Road International Tourism Fair (CXSRITE) 2015 will be held from 11 to 13 September 2015, at the Xi’an Qujiang International Conference & Exhibition Centre. Jointly organized by the Shaanxi Provincial Tourism Administration, Conference & Exhibition Management Services Pte Ltd (Singapore) and CEMS (Beijing) Conference & Exhibition Co., Ltd, CXSRITE 2015 is expected to span over 20,000 square meters, with participation from more than 500 exhibitors from over 30 countries and regions. The exhibition, estimated to attract over 4,000 trade visitors and 30,000 public visitors, is the first-ever tourism exposition in China that focuses on the international Silk Road.
The announcement was officially made by Mr Shao Xi Yuan from the Shaanxi Provincial Tourism Administration, as well as Mr Edward Liu, Group Managing Director for Conference and Exhibition Management Services Ltd (Singapore) at a press conference that was held on 21 April 2015 at the Asia Hotel in Beijing, China. The press conference was attended by close to 60 people from various embassies, tourism administration bodies as well as media organizations.
Back for the second year, CXSRITE 2015 will provide participants with a platform for stakeholders in the tourism industry to meet fellow like-minded professionals to network, and if possible, explore opportunities to collaborate. It is also the perfect venue for trade professionals to keep themselves updated with the latest issues and trends in the tourism industry. Above all, CXSRITE 2015 can help exhibitors to capture China’s rapidly growing tourism market.
As of mid-April 2015, many exhibitors, especially those who participated in the inaugural CXSRITE in 2015, have already expressed their interest to be a part of CXSRITE 2015. For now, confirmed international exhibitors include the Korea National Tourism Bureau, Singapore, India, Malaysia, Iran, Finland, Thailand, Japan and Hong Kong. Furthermore, CXSRITE has a list of confirmed local exhibitors from various provinces like Beijing, Guangdong, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Chongqing, Fujian and Henan Sanmenxia. Moreover, several other provinces like Hubei, Guangxi, Hebei, Jiangxi, Qinghai Zhejiang, Yunnan Province, Lanzhou City, Dandong City have also expressed their intention to participate in CXSRITE 2015.
Other than countries, regions and provinces, more than 20 major tourism enterprises have also committed to CXSRITE 2015. On top of that, CXSRITE 2015 will usher in some new faces, with Tuniu Tourism Xi’an Branch and Hong Kong Ocean Park expressing strong interest in participating in CXSRITE 2015.
Stakeholders in the tourism industry who are keen to capture the burgeoning China outbound tourism market are strongly encouraged to take part in CXSRITE 2015.
