We have worked to ensure it is easier than ever and takes less time for clients to get great results, ensuring that their policies can be managed more effectively, and enabling the company to match usage and settings of the technology to their own company culture.
“Ultimately it’s all about helping our clients save money, whether that is through better policy management or reducing the time it takes a user to a make the best responsibly aware booking.”
HRG proprietary technology – working harder and smarter
Clients using online booking tool, HRG Online, will benefit from a range of additional functionality designed to strengthen the global product to ensure it works harder for users.
Introduction of fare grouping allows the user to see a vendor defined group of fares against a specific flight for our direct connect providers, enabling the user to have greater visibility and choice by sector of the types of fares they can book.
More content is to be made available to users including rail providers such as Amtrack and Via Rail, plus additional content from Low Cost and Non-GDS carriers.
Additional key ancillary services such as lounge access, meals and travel services are available for travellers to add to their air booking.
Our new unique Company ‘Search Behaviour Controls’ (SBC) allow the company to create its own distinct search criteria as part of the company settings allowing them to control the search behaviour that suits their organisation. The SBC includes:
Time window enhancements to include –
- Regional Time Window Allowance – enabling a company to set different +/- time windows for different regional destinations
- True Time Window – ensuring the search results spans into the days either side of the date and time requested by the user
Enabling Direct / Indirect to be in one screen
Allowing mixed cabin results
Policy enhancement to allow the company to enforce of the lowest logical fare using the regional drive True time window
Google mapping to help locate nearest hotels to any location supported by Google in conjunction with HRG’s hotel service
Anita Leslie adds: “The features previewed today will enhance the user experience, making the travel booking process smarter and simpler for users and will also provide greater control for travel managers, and help them to deliver their duty of care responsibilities.”
