IBTM America confirms Chicago for 2015 event

IBTM-AmericaReed Travel Exhibitions’ IBTM Global Events Portfolio (www.ibtmevents.com) has confirmed their new show format IBTM America 2015 (renamed following AIBTM 2014), will take place from June 9-11, 2015 in the exclusive Skyline Ballroom, located in McCormick Place West, overlooking the Chicago skyline and Lake Michigan.

As a result of permanent reforms implemented at McCormick Place, Chicago is one of the most customer-friendly meeting and convention centers in the U.S. We are looking forward to continuing our mutually successful relationship with Reed Travel Exhibitions and IBTM America.”

 

Jaime Rosov, recently appointed Event Director, IBTM America added: “We are thrilled to be back in Chicago and looking forward to hosting IBTM America in the Skyline Ballroom at McCormick Place. The elegant and intimate setting will be conducive to making impactful business connections. As we work on the final exclusive designs for IBTM America we have chosen the Skyline Ballroom as the venue because it too gives us a unique meetings space for the new dynamic trade show format and spectacular views of the City.”

 

The new concept is simple but dynamic. IBTM America will remove the costs associated with exhibiting at a traditional trade show by designing a unique turnkey solution where an innovative exhibit design, completely integrated into an appointment space, will give privacy to meetings between buyers and suppliers.

 

 

The show will have 250 suppliers who will meet with 250 of the most prestigious planners in the global MICE industry on a 1:1 ratio. All exhibitors and buyers select who they would like to have appointments with and a sophisticated software system does a mutual match based on the preferences of both buyers and suppliers, resulting in up to 30 pre-scheduled mutually matched appointments.
