“Newcastle is a perfect choice for the All Stars matches, and the thousands of visitors are expected to travel to Newcastle for the matches which will provide a massive boost to the local economy.

“After hosting the ANZAC Test Match earlier this year, Hunter Stadium is ready for All Stars action and I encourage all fans to book their tickets today.”

NRL Head of Football, Brian Canavan congratulated all involved in securing the All Stars matches in Newcastle and expected a strong turn out to celebrate the occasion.

“The All Stars presents an opportunity for our players, fans and communities to embrace Indigenous history and cultures and celebrate as one,” Mr Canavan said.
