Iran Air emergency lands in Beijing

emergency-landing-1-300x225NCRI – A state-owned Boeing 747 Iran Air passenger plane made an emergency landing in Beijing International Airport minutes after takeoff. An Iran Air official told Fars News Agency that none of the passengers onboard were hurt.

In Bejing airport “The plane’s engine number 4 stopped functioning minutes after takeoff and the pilot was forced to return the plane to the airport with three engines,” Iran Air Public Relations Director-General Shahrokh Noushabadi has said, according to the report.

The passengers of the plane were flown to Tehran on another flight.
