Loews Madison Hotel Celebrates the Holidays with an Ugly Sweater Party

Loews-HotelOn December 2, 2013, the Loews Madison Hotel will be celebrating the holiday season with a Merry Madison Ugly Sweater Party. The hotel has partnered with the Capital Area Food Bank, encouraging guests to bring food donations as part of their “Give a Gift, Get a Gift” program, and take part in the Instagram contest that will also raise money for the Capital Area Food Bank.
“Give a Gift, Get a Gift”
Every guest that brings two (2) non-perishable food items to the party will be entered into a raffle drawing for a one-night weekend stay at Loews Madison Hotel. All food donations will be delivered to The Capital Area Food Bank.
Instagram Contest
$1 will be donated to the Capital Area Food Bank for every photo that is posted on Instagram of people in their ugly Christmas sweaters. The winner of the contest will win a free night’s stay at the Loews Madison Hotel to be used on a future date. The Instagram contest will run from November 21-December 2.

-Snap a picture of yourself in your ugliest holiday sweater
-Share it on Instagram with hashtag #MerryMadison and tag @LoewsHotels
-Those who submit a photo with the #MerryMadison hashtag and tag @LoewsHotels will enter a raffle drawing for a one-night weekend stay at Loews Madison Hotel and $1 will be donated to the Capital Area Food Bank for each photo submission
The Merry Madison Ugly Sweater Party will be held in the PostScript Lounge inside the Loews Madison Hotel. The party will be held from 4:30pm-7:30pm and Happy Hour prices will be featured. Loews Madison Hotel has partnered with Yelp DC to create a photo booth during the event, with holiday-themed props to continue the event’s festive theme.
Festive, tacky or animated holiday-themed sweaters or shirts are the encouraged attire for the party.
