Longest bridge in Northeast Brazil Gilberto Amado inaugurated

The Tourism Minister of Brazil, Gaston Vieira, participated in the inauguration of the Gilberto Amado bridge in Sergipe on January 29. The bridge integrates the entourage of President Dilma Rousseff to conduct technical visits to the state. With 1712 meters long and 14.20 meters wide, Gilberto Amado is the longest bridge in the Northeast.

The work received investments of R $ 107.25 million from the Ministry of Tourism of Brazil and facilitate integration with Bahia, one of the largest emitters of tourists to the state.

“All this investment will certainly contribute to the growth of tourism in the region. It’s more jobs and income for the Sergipe, “said the Tourism Minister.
