Mark Jordan at the Beach is the latest restaurant partner to join Luxury Jersey Hotels, the six-member four and five star hotel consortium, reinforcing Jersey’s reputation as a centre of gourmet excellence.
The two AA rosette beachside bistro joins Ormer, Ocean, Tassili, Bohemia, The Grill, Sirocco and Saffrons as restaurants featured by the consortium in their online dining directory at www.luxuryjerseyhotels.com which uses food photography, restaurant reviews, chef interviews and location guides to give visitors to Jersey a flavour of each destination. The addition of Mark Jordan at the Beach, a sister restaurant to Ocean at The Atlantic Hotel, reflects a growing trend within luxury travel for visitors to search out a range of authentic gourmet experiences while still being assured of a high level of quality.

Mark Jordan at the Beach was launched in 2011 as a sister restaurant to The Atlantic Hotel’s Michelin-starred Ocean, sharing the same emphasis on flavour and quality but in a casual setting, close to the beach at St Aubin’s Bay. Overseen by Ocean Head Chef Mark Jordan, the two AA rosette restaurant is the only location in the Channel Islands to hold a Bib Gourmand, awarded by Michelin inspectors to dining establishments which they feel offer good cuisine at reasonable prices. Mark Jordan at the Beach was also ranked as one of the country’s ten finest restaurants with a view by travel website ‘Britain’s Finest’ and recently received an outstanding review from Jeremy Wayne, restaurant editor of Tatler Magazine.
