To usher in the Lunar New Year, Mandarin Oriental, Manila is inviting guests to celebrate what has become an annual tradition at the hotel – the Grand Midnight Countdown to be held on the eve of Chinese New Year. Guests can relax in comfort and ring in the Year of the Wooden Horse in true Oriental style with a festive room package designed to bring good luck and happiness.
The Feasts and Fortunes package starts at PHP 7,888 per night for single occupancy or PHP 11, 888 per night for double occupancy in a Deluxe room and includes:

The Feasts and Fortunes package is valid from 27 January to 2 February 2014. Room rates are subject to 10% service charge and prevailing government tax.
The Grand Midnight Countdown celebration will include: cocktails at the MO Lounge followed by energising rituals conducted by renowned geomancer Master Joseph Chau, the traditional eye-dotting ceremony, and majestic lion dance. This will lead up to a dazzling fireworks display, a stylish welcome to the New Year. Capping the evening will be a sumptuous midnight Lauriat dinner, the first lucky meal of the year, to be held at the stylishly-decorated Mandarin Ballroom where ticket holders will receive an exclusive copy of Master Chau’s 2014 feng shui forecast book and are regaled with elegant entertainment and a raffle draw.
