Minister St.Ange of the Seychelles speaks on ‘Take a Trip’ for UK radio stations

Alain-St.Ange-the-Seychelles-MinisterFor the second year running, the Seychelles Minister for Tourism and Culture, Alain St.Ange, gave an interview as part of the ‘Take a Trip’ campaign carried out by the 4Mediarelations every year during the World Travel Market.

The campaign focuses on new and exciting destinations around the world and a representative from various countries give a 15-minute interview which is pre-recorded for broadcast on over 80 radio stations in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Minister St.Ange was accompanied at the pre-recorded interview by the Chief Executive of the Seychelles Tourism Board, Sherin Renaud, and the PR Manager for UK and Ireland, Lena Hoareau.

He answered questions on why is Seychelles appealing more and more to the discerning travellers out there and also what activities are on offer for visitors.

Besides an exceeding reputation for weddings and honeymoons, Mr St.Ange told the listeners that Seychelles is also well known for families and there is a range of accommodation choices that would fit any group.

He said that Seychelles has some high-end products because there is a demand for it but that it also caters for lower budgets and have some amazing products for the ‘affordable’ sector. He spoke about a number of activities that families can engage in which would make their Seychelles experience an even more enjoyable one.

The interview was later aired on 86 radio stations across the UK reaching a huge audience of 9,520,379 and giving an advertising equivalent value (AVE) of more than £55,000.
