2016 marks fifty years since the M/S Sunward made her first voyage from Miami to the Caribbean on December 19, 1966, signifying the birth of Norwegian Caribbean Line. Through the global initiative, Norwegian Cruise Line guests, employees and travel partners are invited to upload their photos and stories to NorwegiansFirst50.com, which showcases a dynamic timeline of photos and stories spanning the brand’s first 50 years. Fans who upload memorable moments to the site, which will serve as a living, growing tribute to 50 years of feeling free out on the water, are encouraged to share their memories with friends on their social networks, with the chance of winning a free cruise as a reward for joining in the celebration .
