Barbora graduated from the University of Economics in Prague, majoring in Tourism and Regional Development. She worked in Prague Convention Bureau as an assistant for more than a year. She also worked as a sales trainee in the sales department of Sheraton Prague Charles Square Hotel. In her new position in Prague Convention Bureau she will be responsible for acquiring new corporate events to Prague. Her target markets include the United States of America, Asia and other European countries.
“Thanks to my previous experience in Prague Convention Bureau as an assistant I am familiar with the overall functioning of the organization, which is a big advantage for me. So, from the first day in my new position, I can fully concentrate on developing new business opportunities within the corporate and incentive events in Prague.” says Barbora Vopěnková, adding: “My target markets primarily include the United States of America. Another key market for us is Asia whose countries nowadays offer huge potential and cannot be underestimated. On the contrary, it is necessary to use their potential and focus more on proactive presentation of Prague as the perfect meeting destination within these countries.”
