QHotels Golfers Given A Break With New Membership Benefits

Published on : Thursday, September 8, 2016

OultonHall-06sep16QHotels is offering golfers more benefits than ever before with QFairway – the country’s most flexible golf membership – with existing members now able to exchange points for overnight breaks and events as part of the innovative scheme.

As well as using membership points for golf, buggy hire, driving range tokens and spa treatments, players can book Sunday night accommodation with breakfast at any of QHotels’ 10 golf resorts, or at selected hotels across England and Scotland.

The new benefit is available to all QFairway members with a balance of 200 points or more at the time of booking, or members who purchased 200 points or more when they last topped up.

In addition, QHotels – the UK’s largest golf resort operator – is giving existing members complimentary room hire for events when food and drinks are booked, while golfers will also receive a free gift card worth up to £150 for every new member they introduce who signs up to QFairway.

Launched last year, QFairway offers all the benefits of a full club membership at a fraction of the cost and thousands of golfers have already taken advantage of the scheme, with membership prices starting from just £295 per person.

The forward-thinking initiative has also proved an instant hit in helping to attract more juniors to the game, with children aged 15 and under receiving a free membership when they sign up, providing their parent or guardian also has an adult membership at the same time.

QFairway is available across QHotels’ 10 impressive golf resorts including Slaley Hall – host of 18 European Tour and European Seniors Tour events – Belton Woods, Oulton Hall, Mottram Hall and Forest Pines Hotel and Golf Resort.

Among the scheme’s many benefits, players can enjoy the facility to hold a handicap and playing rights for club competitions, discounts on food and drink, shop purchases, tuition and hotel bed-and-breakfast rates.

Points may be used for golf, leisure club and spa facilities (where applicable), the driving range and even on buggy hire – all whenever and wherever the member requires. What’s more, unlike traditional golf club memberships, there is no joining fee, meaning that for a relatively small outlay keen nomadic golfers can now achieve their dream of belonging to a club, with all the friendly social benefits that entails.

The multi-award-winning, four and five-star QHotels collection offers championship-standard courses in unique resort locations.
