RCI®, the global leader in vacation exchange and part of the Wyndham Worldwide family of brands (NYSE: WYN), has seen such great success with its social media monitoring service, the Timeshare Online Listening Center, that it has expanded internationally. The company has seen impressive growth in the program, and now has a 100 percent retention rate of clients, representing nearly 400 affiliated resorts around the world.
RCI launched this service from its headquarters in Parsippany, N.J. last year. The service has since expanded into a new, larger listening center that utilizes state-of-the-art technology. After its initial success, there was demand for monitoring in Spanish and Portuguese in addition to English. As a result, RCI recently added a second Timeshare Online Listening Center in its office in Mexico to offer this additional language support.
The goal of the Timeshare Online Listening Center is to monitor brand conversations and online reviews on behalf of its clients, helping to spread positive brand mentions while addressing any customer service issues that arise. Detailed customized listening reports are then provided on a monthly basis to help clients understand and leverage their brand’s online feedback.
