The entire hotel staff and the guests reveled in the early celebrations of the most awaited holiday of the year.
An initiative to share the merriment of the festivities even before they have begun, the cake mixing was held on the patio outside Bene, the signature Italian restaurant. Everyone present was dressed in aprons and chef hats as they mixed piles of black current, cashewnuts, cherries, figs, dry apricots, candied ginger and orange peels, almonds, prunes, raisins, cardamom, cloves, walnut and spices of ground cinnamon into a huge cauldron along with endless bottles of liquor poured into the mix. The eventful Saturday ended on a high note as the guests mingled with one another and were seen having a great time.
General Manager, Mr. Jaswinder Narang added, "Christmas is no fun without the traditional Christmas cake. We are glad that all our staff, guests and patrons came together to participate in this fun activity and embrace this festive season in our first ever Cake Mixing Ceremony.”
