This August 9 plan a trip to Singapore as the country gears up to celebrate its National Day with lucrative deals and festivities all over the country.
To mark the celebration of Singapore’s 49 years of independence on August 9 two sets of stamps were released entitled ”I am Singaporean” and “Our Journey Together” .
“I am Singaporean” celebrates the unique traits, values and characteristics of Singaporeans and the country. “Our Journey Together” showcases examples of what the country and its people have shared, overcome and achieved together as a nation.
With Singapore’s National Day approaching, Crowne Plaza Changi Airport invites dinners to celebrate with them along with local favorites with an extraordinary upgrade! From 1 to 17 August 2014, Singaporeans may indulge in their favourite local delights with specially imported ingredients and larger portions to celebrate the heritage and culture that Singapore has built.
Star Cruises, the leading cruise line in Asia Pacific, commemorates the National Day across Asia in the month of August, with an onboard colourful celebration, showcasing Asia’s rich heritage, culture and amazing culinary flavours. Asia is truly a melting pot of cultures and in August, these various cultures will converge onboard Star Cruises’ cruise ships, as Star Cruises celebrates Independence Day for Singapore on 9 August.
Singapore’s Power 98 FM has geared up to celebrate National Day with the ‘Ultimate Singapore Selfie’ contest. The SAFRA stations is giving away tickets to the annual National Day Parade (NDP) to the lucky winners who take patriotic photos.
